I acknowledge that I live and work on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. who have stewarded this land for generations. I honour their deep connection to the land, waters, and all living beings, and recognize the ongoing impacts of colonialism on their sovereignty, culture, and livelihoods.

This acknowledgment is not a mere formality but a commitment to engage with the responsibilities it carries. I strive to support Indigenous sovereignty, uplift Indigenous voices, and work toward a relational and just future where land, people, and systems are in harmony. Truth and Reconciliation is the responsibility of all, most importantly the settlers and colonial Governments who perpetuate genocide on Indigneous lands.
